The island is a coral atoll entirely surrounded by a beautiful white sand beach, covered by lush equatorial vegetation, the kingdom of numerous exotic birds, coconut crabs (Birgus latro) and endemic spotted Cuscus (Spilocuscus papuensis). In the shade of large pine trees Cassowaries (Casuarina cunninghamniana), the cottages overlook an incredible turquoise lagoon that merges to the open sea with a spectacular House Reef rich in fishes and corals.
